  1. I’ve been interested in genealogy since I was a young girl, researching our family tree with my grandfather at the State Library of Pennsylvania. When my husband and I had our son 4 years ago, my passion for genealogy was reignited. We had our DNA tested and I started working on his tree as well as my own. Imagine our delight when I recognized the last name of Mia Farrow’s grandmother, Lucy Savage, as well as the place in England from which her Savage line hailed. Turns out, my husband and Mia Farrow are 4th cousins, one generation removed! What are the chances that the first time we tuned in together, HIS ancestors would be mentioned? (I was secretly hoping that Isabella Rossellini and I shared some Italian ancestors, but not likely!)

Moving revelations shared by Dr.Gates. A warm and telling show reminding us of all we are yet to know about our ancestors.
