Northwest Genealogy Conference, August 15-18, 2018 featuring CeCe Moore, Beth Foulk, and Peggy Lauritzen
[Editor’s Note: We just received the following press release from the organizers of the Northwest Genealogical Conference.]
Beyond The Family Tree is the theme of this year’s Northwest Genealogy Conference and includes a FREE class for Beginning Genealogists!
Amie Bowser-Tennant will lead the class Let’s Start Off on the Right Foot!, Wednesday, August 15th, 2018, from 1:00pm to 4:30pm: “Learn how to begin your genealogy and family history research the right way, the first time! We will go step-by-step and take nothing for granted. This will be a great class for the beginner or those who think they need a review of the basic principles of sound genealogical research. We will begin with documenting what we know, then, learn what free and subscription resources are out there to help us in searching for records. Lastly, we will discuss the importance of organizing and citing our sources as we go along and how best to do that.”
Over 14 Speakers and 40 Sessions
Over 14 different genealogy speakers including CeCe Moore, Beth Foulk, and Peggy Lauritzen will present lectures covering DNA, Research Methodology, Swedish Genealogy, Maps, Death Records, Eastern European Genealogy and more! Click HERE for a complete list of classes.
