AncestryData – Have You Heard of It?

You may have noticed a new “widget” in the sidebar here at Abundant Genealogy labeled AncestryData. So what is it? In a nutshell, you enter a first name and a last name for an ancestor and click search . . . then you will see a consolidate search across several sites using that name. The sites include Genealogy Bank, MyHeritage, PeopleFinders and BeenVerified.

You never know what you might find using one of these search engines . . . you could find the clue needed to break down that brick wall in your genealogy research!
